Download YouTube videos, playlists and audio on your Mac. Free.

Install

Open Terminal (press ⌘ Space, type Terminal, hit Return).
Paste this line and press Return:

curl -fsSL https://tubegrab.heliconsolutions.net/install.sh | bash

TubeGrab lands in your Applications folder and opens. The first launch sets up the download engine once (about 80 MB). Needs macOS 14 or newer, Apple Silicon or Intel.

What it does

Copy a YouTube link, switch to TubeGrab, and it loads by itself.
Works with single videos, whole playlists and channels, or a plain search.
Pick 4K, 1080p, 720p and more, or audio only as MP3 or M4A.
Several downloads at once with progress, plus cover art and titles embedded.

Prefer a manual install? Download the zip, move the app to Applications, then allow it under System Settings, Privacy & Security, Open Anyway.
